Eleven years ago, I had my introduction to Jewish Hospice and Chaplaincy Network. My beloved father, Peter Brown, was at the end of his life. Unfortunately he died before we were really able to have time for their services. However, at this time I met Rabbi Bunny Freedman. My dad would have really liked him and his organization.
When my beloved mother Dorothy Brown became ill I knew where to turn for help. Jewish Hospice and Chaplaincy gave her the care and dignity that she so deserved at the end of her life. It was a very difficult time for all of our family and the JHCN team was there with guidance and support for all of us.
Everyone deserves to die with loving care and dignity. My husband, Bart, and I and our families feel very fortunate to be able to emotionally and financially make a commitment to Jewish Hospice and Chaplaincy Network to see that this happens for others today and in the future. This is why we've made the initial major gift to establish The Jewish Hospice & Chaplaincy Network's Permanent Endowment Fund.
Your donation allows families facing the end-of-life to find comfort and helps guarantee the future of this vital agency.
I care about Jewish patients and their families.
